What once was just a pop culture hub for collectibles, toys, Funkos and more has now expanded. Fanboys has opened its own restaurant! Fanboys Grill, the latest restaurant to open its doors on Fort Worth West 7th Street, is ready to serve nerds and normies alike. We’ve just opened the doors to the restaurant this past week. and it was a blast. Even though the rain came down in buckets on West 7th, we had Fanboy cosplayers out in mass. Batman, the Joker, Penguin, Captain Jack Sparrow and even Superman stopped by to grab a bite and greet new guests.
The hope for Fanboys Grill is to be a place where fandom meets food. A place where pop and nerd culture can meet, share a meal, and have those deep meaningful conversations about who’s tougher, the Hulk or Thor. Our doors have just opened, so while we have great tasting food on the grill, we’re still in the process of re-branding the ambience of the restaurant to reflect the Fanboys culture. Above all, the dream is to have a place where you can walk in with empty hands and empty stomachs and walk out having both of them filled. We are working hard to furnish the store with pop culture collectibles, Funkos, movie posters, action figures, etc. Not only should you be able to enjoy good food. But why not add to your growing Pop collection as well?
While we plan on keeping Emmy’s famous fried pickles on the menu, Fanboys will be adding their own special dishes to the menu. Be sure to try the Fanboys Burger when you visit. It’s a double meat patty with cheese, on top of a nice helping of smoked brisket. Pair it with some fried pickles or some beer battered onion rings. Fanboys is located just off of West 7th Street at 2708 W. 7th St. in Fort Worth. We’re on the same block next door to The Abbey Pub and share a parking lot with Velvet Taco. Here’s to food, fun and fandom. Be sure to follow Fanboys Grill on Instagram and on Facebook!
