Who We Are
Fanboys Marketplace is owned by Fanboys, LLC a Texas Company based in Fort Worth, Texas. Founded in 1993 as Cowtown Events and its name was changed to Fanboys in 2015. LLC was established in 2020.
Cowtown Events had done local events from Craft Fairs to Karate Tournaments to Car Shows to MMA Fights and large scale conventions throughout Dallas/Fort Worth. In 2009, we did the Combative Sports Expo – the first MMA convention in Texas. In 2019, we ventured outside of DFW and did shows in Phoenix, AZ; Toronto, Canada; Sydney, Australia; Portland, Oregon; and Johannesburg, South Africa. 25 shows were scheduled for 2020 Worldwide and then Coronavirus hit.
Fanboys Marketplace was born as a result.
A unique experience! Quite a lot of booths, each with its own spin on fandom. Ended up with some nerdy anime pillows! They have comics, handmade items, anime figures, manga, custom shirts and more!
