Anne Lockhart, most famous for portraying Lieutenant Sheba in Battlestar Galactica, was born on September 6th, 1963, in New York City, New York.

Lockhart rose to fame in the late 70s when she took on the role of Lieutenant Sheba in the original Battlestar Galactica TV show. 

This show helped Lockhart cement herself as the iconic actress she is known as today. Her career spans over seven decades! With that in mind, let us hop right into the life and career of Miss Lockhart!

Leading up to her time on Battlestar Galactica, Lockhart has over 25 acting credits! 

Lockhart’s first on-screen appearance was in 1958, in a short called T Is for Tumbleweed. The following year she began appearing in the famous sitcom Lassie. Lockhart played three characters in various episodes of the show from 1959 to 1962. Little did anyone that Lockhart was a breakout star in the making.

She also appeared on other recognizable shows like The Magical World of Disney, The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries, and Happy Days. Three years following her appearance on Happy Days, she would take on the role that defines her career!

Battlestar Galactic (the original TV series) is a beloved sci-fiction show set in a futuristic OuterSpace. The show aired from 1978 to 1979 and has a total of 21 episodes. Although the show was short-lived, it became a cult-classic.

Lockhart portrayed the character of Lieutenant Sheba, a commander’s daughter, and a Viper pilot. This role catapulted Lockhart’s career, creating numerous acting opportunities in the future!
