October is turning out to be a big month for Fanboys Marketplace, Fanboys stores, and for all of our customers! We’ve got several Fanboys Events coming up and you’re not going to want to miss any of them! So break out your calendar, or open up that planner app on your phone and get ready to jot down some dates. It’s Fanboys Event list for October 2022!
October 1st
October starts off with a bang with the Grand Opening event of our Fanboys store inside Hulen mall. Celebrate the opening of our fifth location with celebrity guest Bryn Apprill! She will be in-store to sign autographs and take photos with fans. Apprill is the voice actress behind Hiyori Iki (Noragami), Krista Lenz (Attack on Titan), and Kortori Itsuka (Date A Live).
Also on October 1st, Stephanie Young will be at our Firewheel Town Center location in Garland, Texas. Known for lending her voice and acting talents on Attack on Titan and My Hero Academia, she also was the assistant director for Royal Lane. She’ll be in-store from 12-6pm to sign autographs and take fan photos as well!
Last but certainly not least, Paul Taylor will be at our Fanboys location at Hurst, inside North East Mall. Paul Taylor is known for playing the the popular horror icon Pinhead from the film Hellraiser Judgement. He’ll be in store from 12-6pm as well, so be sure to stop by and meet Paul Taylor!
October 8th
On October 8th we’ll be celebrating the Grand Opening of our sixth location at the Parks Mall at Arlington! We’ll be open regular store hours and are excited celebrate with our Arlington community!
October 15th
We are excited to have Kent Williams at Fanboys Marketplace off of Camp Bowie in Fort Worth, Texas. Williams is known for lending his voice talents to Dragonball Z, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan and many more. He’ll be in-store from 12-6pm for autographs and fan photos. This will the be the first time we’ve had Williams in store and are excited to meet him. Make sure to come by and welcome Kent into the Fanboys community.
Ocotber 29th
Fanboys Comic-Con is coming back to Denton! This is our big Fall Comic-Con that takes place at Golden Triangle Mall. Vendors will be set up outside our Fanboys store and throughout the mall offering everything from Funko Pops to comic books, artwork, and more! The event will take place that Saturday only, October 29th from 11am-7pm.
October 31st
Happy Halloween! Go Trick-or-Treating inside Fanboys Marketplace! All day long (opening hours are from 11am-7pm) we’ll have vendors from our marketplace booths handing out candy for trick or treaters of all ages! Dress in your spookiest costume and come by Fanboys Marketplace off Camp Bowie to get a jump start on your evenings tricks or treats!
November 19th & 20th
Last but not least, Fanboys Marketplace is pumped to host The Power Rangers in Space Reunion Event at our Fort Worth store off of Camp Bowie. This two day event will bring the Power Rangers in Space cast together under one roof for the first time! For two days the Power Rangers will be in-store to sign autographs, pose for photos and sit down for a Q&A session. We’ll also be hosting a Dungeons & Dragons tournament on the 19th. Guest vendors will be onsite as well, selling Funko Pops, artwork and other pop culture collectibles. Admission is free. Pre-purchase you photos vouchers today from our website!
