Fanboys Collectible Toy Store Partners with Crunchyroll to show Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero on August 18th
Fanboys and Crunchyroll partnership to benefit Cook Children’s Medical Center
Fort Worth, Texas, June 15, 2022- Fanboys Collectible Toy Store is excited to partner with Crunchyroll for an exclusive early showing of the new film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero on August 18th. All sales go to benefit Cook Children’s Medical Center.
Cook Children’s Medical Center began over a century ago with only 30 beds and a promise to provide heath care for every child in Fort Worth. Since then, they’ve grown to be one of the most recognized freestanding children’s health care facilities in the Southwest. Fanboys is excited for the opportunity to raise money for Cook Children’s and have a great time doing it.
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is the second film in the Dragon Ball film franchise, the first being Dragon Ball Super: Broly, which opened in the United State on January 16, 2019. Crunchyroll describes the sequel: “The Red Ribbon Army was once destroyed by Son Goku. Individuals, who carry on its spirit, have created the ultimate Androids, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2. These two Androids call themselves ‘Super Heroes’. They start attacking Piccolo and Gohan… What is the New Red Ribbon Army’s objective? In the face of approaching danger, it is time to awaken, Super Hero!”
Tetsuro Kodama directed the film, and Naoki Satō composed the music. Nobuhito Sue was the art director, Chikashi Kubota was the animation director, and Jae Hoon Jung was the CG director. Dragon Ball original manga creator Akira Toriyama worked on the film’s original story, screenplay, and character designs.
The film opened #1 on June 11th in Japan and will be on U.S. screens on August 19th. Fanboys is selling exclusive tickets to see the film a day earlier-on August 18th-at Rave Motion Pictures in Fort Worth, Texas at the Ridgmar Mall location.
