The Funko Fair 2023 just rolled through town and if you happened to miss it, no worries! Fanboys Marketplace has a few that blipped on our radar that we wanted to tell you about. If you don’t know, Funko Fair is when Funko announces what to keep your eyes peeled for in the up and coming months leading into the new year. Like this year, Funko will highlight some pop culture events that are coming up as well as add some Funko releases that you didn’t know you needed.
Speaking of Funko pops that you didn’t know you needed… Funko is releasing two new Dolly Parton Funko Pops. Is there really anyone who doesn’t like Dolly? Both a highly successful actress and country western star, musician, fashion icon, and just an all around good person. Funko has Parton in two stunning outfits that are fit to add to anyone’s collection.
Next up is a Funko moment that everyone already knew they needed. Now we just get to celebrate that it’s actually here! It’s Phase 3 from Stranger Things Season 4 featuring Eddie, Dustin, and the Demobats!
Next on the docket are female pop/rocker Cher and Cyndi Lauper. I’ve been wanting Funko to release some more female singers to their Funko line and you really can’t go wrong with these two!
As I mentioned before, Funko likes to commemorate pop culture moments in history. This year look forward to a slew of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi Funko Pops and Moments. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the history making film’s release, back in May of 1983! So, better keep an eye out for these Star Wars Funko Pops and Moments that will be hitting the shelves in the coming months.
All this, not to mention a few movie tie-ins that will be hitting the big screen this Spring and Summer. First up Funko has released Funkos of the characters from Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. Here’s a sneak peek at Edgin and Doric.
And not to be outdone, they’re also releasing new Guardians of the Galaxy Funko Pops from the upcoming movie Vol:3.
