Happy Birthday Roger Velasco!

Today on the Fanboys Marketplace blog we want to take a moment to wish a very Happy Birthday to Roger Velasco! Velasco is best known for his iconic role as the Green Turbo Ranger II in the Power Rangers Turbo TV series in 1997 as well as the Black Space Ranger in Power Rangers in Space which aired in 1998. He also appeared later on in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy in 1999 as well as Castle Rock and Six Feet Under.

According to his website Velasco was born in Los Angeles and was raised in Bell Gardens, California. He played soccer since he was 5 and also ran Cross Country for his Palos Verdes High School team. At the age of 11 Roger Velasco and his family moved to South Gate, California. Roger finished his high school career at South Gate Senior High after being moved from different high schools. Right after high school Roger was recruited by a manager and agent and began his career as a model. At the age of 19 he appeared in a lead role as Carlos, in Power Rangers Turbo and then Power Rangers in Space.

In 2017 Roger teamed up with 1DrProductions and filmed a documentary documenting his life called The South Gate Ranger. This pairing led to another project, Protectors of the Power. A Power Morphicon Docu-Series. Roger stays busy picking up a few acting jobs but primarily focuses on his career as a broker.

Fanboys Marketplace are particularly excited to host Roger Velasco as well as the entire cast of Power Ranger in Space this November 19th & 20th. They will be making a special two day reunion appearance at our Fort Worth location! So, Happy Birthday Roger!
