Now for what everyone came for, Trachtenberg’s time on Buffy the Vampire Slayer!
On September 26th, 2000, she appeared on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, in the episode Buffy vs. Dracula. Trachtenberg depicted the role of Dawn Summers, Buffy’s little sister. Trachtenberg starred on the show from 2000 until the last episode on May 20th, 2003. The show set an upward trajectory for the rest of her career!
Following Buffy, she went on to star in two other noteworthy movies. In 2004 she starred in the movie EuroTrip, a comedy film about a grad who was recently dumped by his girlfriend and decides to take a trip overseas. In 2005 she played the part of Casey Carlyle in the movie Ice Princess. The movie did not do well in theaters but achieved notoriety when it was released on DVD.
Following her early 2000s success, Trachtenberg had small parts in several TV shows and movies, including,

- Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2006)
- The Hill (2007)
- The Circuit (2008)
- Against the Current (2009)
Her most recognizable role from this period was in the 2009 blockbuster 17 Again, starring Zac Efron. In 2010 she had a small role in the movie Cop Out.
Since 2010, she has had small and larger parts in TV shows and movies, the most popular being Gossip Girl. Her recent parts include voice acting roles on Robot Chicken and Human Kind Of.
Michelle Trachtenberg has accomplished a lot in her 25+ year career. She has even worked as a producer; it was for the TV show Guidance. There is currently no word on when she will return to the screens, but we all hope it is soon!
