This weekend Fanboys Marketplace at Camp Bowie Blvd is having a huge overstock clearance sale. From open to close on September 3rd and 4th Fanboys will have several items priced to move!
Fanboys Marketplace thrives with the help of its vendors. These are other small business owners who rent floor space in order to set up small booths. The booths often have pop culture collectibles such as vintage action figures, older comics, and 80’s and 90’s toys and memorabilia. Several vendors sell Funko Pops, another popular collectible. Alongside that pop culture selection are vendors who specialize in D&D supplies, 3D printing, custom gifts such as tumblers, mugs, and t-shirts. Fanboys is literally a one stop shop for very unique gifts and shopping.
Another way we find and stock one-of-a-kind merchandise is we purchase collections from outside our store. Through one on one deals made from other collectors looking to downsize. Or through huge overstock sales from the big box stores such as Target or Walmart. Through these deals Fanboys is able to get merchandise that were overlooked in larger retail spaces, such as Funko Pops or other pop culture items. These larger collections often include extra inventory that Fanboys doesn’t normally sell. Such as serving plates, winter sweaters, house slippers, and the like.
This weekend all of these extra items will be selling for a fraction of the retail cost! A lot of it is an overstock of Fanboys’ usual collectibles. This includes Funko Pops, action figures, Funko enamel pins, jewelry, DC Comic and Harry Potter sock gift packs, etc. The rest are things you don’t typically find in-store: housewares, apparel, cat toys and more. We’re hoping to get rid of all of it this weekend!
