Stephanie Nadolny, a voice actress who is known for portraying young Goku in the Dragon Ball Z franchise, was born May 19th, 1971, in Memphis, Tennessee.

Nadolny’s career spans over 25 years and has many remarkable achievements. She has also worked as a backup vocalist, but in this article, we are focusing on her career as a voice actress. So let us jump right into the career and achievements of Stephanie Nadolny!

In 1986 Nadolny would begin voicing the iconic character of young Goku in the Funimation series Dragon Ball; this launched her career and long-standing part within the Dragon Ball Z franchise.

After her tenure voicing Goku in the original Dragon Ball TV series, she voiced Gohan, Goku, and Baby Trunks in many Dragon Ball spin-offs. Some of the many spin-offs from 1990 to 1997 include,

  • Dragon Ball Z: Bardock – The Father of Goku (1990)
  • Dragon Ball Z: The Return of Cooler (1992)
  • Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound (1993)
  • Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn (1995)
  • Dragon Ball GT: A Hero’s Legacy (1997)

She also ended her tenure voicing characters in the Dragon Ball Z TV show during this time.

From the late 90s leading into the year 2000, Nadolny begins branching off into other English dubbed anime TV series and movies, including Detective Conan, Lupin III: Missed by a Dollar, and Blue Gender.

In the early, to mid-2000s Nadolny reprised her roles in the Dragon Ball Z franchise, with over 20 credits in both TV series and video games. During this time, she would also voice characters in shows like Gravion Zwei and Kanon.

From 2007 to 2010, Nadolny would voice Goku and Gohan in eight video games in the Dragon Ball Z franchise. There are no more Dragon Ball credits listed after this time.

It seems Nadolny took some time away from the voice acting scene in 2011 and 2012 as there are no listed acting credits for this time. In 2013 Nadolny resurfaced with a voice acting role in a TV short called Lakewood Plaza Turbo; she has no more credits until 2016.

2016 brought Nadolny back, as she started to voice the character of KO, in the “OK K.O.!” TV shorts. Her time with the series lasted from 2016-2017. There are no other acting credits listed after this time.

Stephanie Nadolny is an incredibly accomplished woman, and many of us fans hope she returns to her craft soon!
