Tatiana Maslany, gifted actress and producer, was born on September 22nd, 1985, in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Maslany’s career as an actress took off in 2002 when she partook in the TV show 2030 CE. Since her time on the show, she has accumulated over 60 acting credits! Her acting career is extensive, so let us jump right into it!
We may know the talented Maslany for her part in Orphan Black but her roles leading up that time are worth being noted. From 2004 to 2008, she gained 20 acting credits in both Television and movie productions. The year 2008 also brought two of her most significant roles of the time, Zeppelin Dyer in Instant Star and Kit Bailey in Heartland.
She was only on the show Instant Star for seven episodes of the last season but was on Heartland for a total of 15 episodes from 2008 to 2010.
Now, for what many of you know her for, her part as Sarah on the hit show Orphan Black! Let us dive right into her time on the show!
Orphan Black is a sci-fi drama about a woman named Sarah, who witnesses the suicide of another woman who looks just like her! The sci-fi aspect comes in when Sarah finds out that she is a clone! Maslany portrayed the part of Sarah and her clones in the series and produced 30 episodes of the show! She was on the show from its premiere in 2013 until the series finale in 2017.
Maslany also voiced her character for Orphan Black: The Game in 2017 and was the narrator for Orphan Black: The Next Chapter in 2019. The latter is an audiobook continuation of the show.

The soon to be Disney Plus show follows the character of Jennifer Walters, cousin of Bruce Banner (The Hulk). Jennifer obtains her Hulk abilities when she receives a blood transfusion from Bruce. Although Jennifer has the same powers as her male counterpart when she hulks-out, she maintains her human personality and emotional stability.
Maslany is perfect for the role and will be making Marvel history, as this is the first live-action appearance of She-Hulk!
