This week Fanboys is proud to put the spotlight on S L Rivers Enterprises. With 23 years of printing experiences S L Rivers Enterprises is ready to take your custom printing orders and help you meet your needs. If you’ve been inside the Camp Bowie location of Fanboys Marketplace you may have seen a sprawling booth lined with large and small format printers. This is Stevie’s booth. As a result of being in the printing industry for years he’s decided to downsize and get focused on doing what he enjoys doing most. Chiefly having spent years making wraps for cars, car lettering, storefront signs, acrylic signs he’s ready to “gear down” and “work smarter.”
Stevie took some time from his day to talk to me about his booth, about Fanboys, about printing, and about giving in order to receive. He prints on t-shirts, on throw pillows, he can make custom signs and even print high quality photo enlargements, all right there on-site. Before, he was working out of his home, but Fanboys has given him the opportunity to expand and grow outside of those four walls and actually have a physical location. Now he can focus on custom printing and the opportunity to give people something “nobody else has.” A unique design, a custom logo, or just a favorite photograph. If you can scan or design it, he’ll print it.
For Stevie a lot of what gets him excited is helping others start their business. For example, people will approach him with an idea, or a brand, and they really want to “get something going.” Stevie’s there to extend that helping hand. Another is entrepreneurs who’re trying to get a start on their small business. Whether it’s a restaurant, or a food truck, or simple branding, S L Rivers can provide posters, banners, and shirts to jumpstart that name recognition.
“I’m blessed because I helped somebody else,” Stevie says. “Everyday things are falling into place.”
He points out that it’s sometimes hard to describe what Fanboys Marketplace is. “It’s not a flea-market,” he says, “it’s stores inside of a store. You have to walk in here and get serious about your business. I mean, I have fun, but you have to be serious.”
“This is the best thing that ever happened to me in my life since I had my business. I’m public. I’ve always wanted to be public. I’m really enjoying myself. This is the place to be.”
