I personally don’t collect Funkos…okay, maybe I own a few…but I don’t have enough to fill an entire shelf, to be sure. And yet, I find joy visiting the Funko website from time to time and seeing what’s new. It never ceases to amaze me what they’ve procured the rights to. For instance, there’s a Mariah Carey Fantasy Funko pop just released, greatness! But, I know many of you out there are huge collectors, so I like to blog about some of the newer ones that catch my eye. Here’s a handful of the latest. Be sure to check our stores to see which of these we have in stock. If you don’t see one, ask a Fanboys employee and we can get one ordered for ya’!
Funko just released a new Thackery Binx Funko Pop. For those that don’t know, this adorable black cat is from the original Hocus Pocus film. He’s shown here sitting atop of what I assume is the Book of Spells. The beauty of Funko is that most of their pops retail for $15. That’s it! Making it easy and affordable to jump on board starting a collection. This is a great addition to any cat lovers, or fans of Hocus Pocus.
Next up is a sneak peek at Samuel L. Jackson’s Marvel persona as Nick Fury. Here he is from the upcoming TV series Secret Invasion, which I think I’m excited about. I’m not quite sure to be honest. I’ve been suffering from a bit of streaming overwhelm lately. I stopped watching She-Hulk (don’t hate me), and haven’t even started Andor (please, please don’t hate me). But I’ve only got so many hours in a day people!
Next is Namor from the upcoming Wakanda Forever film-the next MCU installment. Which, by the trailers alone, looks like it’s going to be a beautiful film. Funko has an entire line of new Wakanda figures, Shuri, Queen Ramonda, Nakia, M’Baku, and Okoye. They all look awesome and would great displayed altogether on a shelf…just saying.
The next is Black Adam sitting on the throne. Well, no not that throne, but I see how one can get confused. This of course is from the new Black Adam movie that debuts nest week. I’ve already got my tickets but I have to admit, I always enter a DCEU film with the bar set pretty low. I know this had been Dwayne Johnson’s pet project for a long time now (not sure why) so I hope it lives up to the hype.
